Puritan Cleaners community

We collect coats of all sizes every November during our Coats For Kids campaign. We average nearly 17,000 coats collected every year. We clean and repair them and then deliver to the Salvation Army for distribution to Central Virginia’s families in need.

Every spring, our team at Puritan Cleaners comes together with our clients and community to raise 100K Meals to benefit Feed More. We collect non-perishable foods and donations at all of our locations and through our Free Home Delivery. Together we’ve collected nearly 2 million meals.

Puritan will clean any American Flag for free. Everyday. Any day. We are big supporters of patriotism in the Richmond and we love to see our neighbors fly their US flag. Any day, any time. We encourage all of our friends to fly their American Flag proudly.

Puritan has partnered with local organization, Cinderella Dreams. This program provides prom dresses for area high school girls, lifting the financial burden of parents and teens on a tight budget.

Every summer on a specific Wednesday, everyone in Richmond can get one pair of pants cleaned for free on “Free Pants Wednesday”.
